Still on Thursday, that is on the day publication of the recording by the Lublin City Hall, director of TVP3 Lublin Ryszard Montusiewicz terminated the contract with Tomasz Zalewą with immediate effect.
As we read in the announcement, the main reason for this decision is the behavior of a public television employee registered by the monitoring of the city of Lublin, consisting in creating and recording a false situation by television by throwing rubbish taken out of the garbage can by him in order to confirm the legitimacy of the topic of disorder at one of the recreational areas in the center cities.
In the video you can see how he is reaching into the garbage can and taking out the waste from it. Then it spreads them over the lawn. The operator records the heap of garbage. This has been flooded in recent years by one of the most important journalists of TVP Lublin. He became famous, among others a report on the premises built by the government as part of the Mieszkanie Plus program. Internet users did not leave a dry thread on it then, and NaTemat.pl edited its material with a report on Edward Gierek’s visit to the Ursynów construction site over 40 years ago.
Zalewa has been working in the media for many years. In the past, he conducted broadcasts on Radio Centrum, Radio Puls and Radio Złote Przeboje. In 2008, he joined the editorial office of TVP3 Lublin. He co-hosted “Poranek z Panorama”, “Magazyn Sportowy”, and recently also “Morning between the Vistula and the Bug”. He was also one of the co-hosts of the flagship Panorama of Lublin. His career accelerated since Ryszard Montusieiwcz became the director of the Lublin center in 2015.
In June this year, during the presidential election campaign, after the press conference of PiS politicians, the former TVP3 Lublin employee eagerly posed for photos with the banner “DUDA 2020”. This moment was captured by a photographer of Radio Lublin. The photo is still available on the radio’s website. In the social media TVP3 Lublin, the description of Tomasz Zalewa still hangs: “If necessary, he also makes a monkey. (…) He is characterized by high personal culture and erudition. His hobbies are accounting and upholstery. In his spare time, he practices intellectual fencing and plays squash. “.
