WarnerMedia Latin America is the last major conglomerate to confirm the new content structure, led by Thomas Yankelevich, Chief Content Officer of General Entertainment for the region. The announced team contemplates the range of its diverse portfolio, which includes the programming of the basic, premium, direct-to-consumer and open television brands; all linear and digital original productions, including movies, scripted or unscripted productions, live events and sports; creative services; public relations; content and consumer-oriented marketing; and content acquisition.
WarnerMedia Latin America integrated the premium channels of HBO (HBO: HBO, HBO 2, HBO GO, HBO Family, HBO Pop, HBO Xtreme, HBO+, HBO Signature y HBO Mundi) y básicos Turner (TNT, TNT Series, Space, Cinemax, Warner Channel, TCM, I.Sat, TBS, HTV, MuchMusic, Glitz and truTV; and the properties of TNT Sports), to which it will add HBO Max. With landing plans in Latin America throughout this year, the region will be the first international territory outside the USA. The D2C is led by Johannes larcher, Head of HBO Max International.

Mariano Caesar is the Content Strategy and Programming Leader for HBO Max Latin America, leading the entire OTT strategy, selection, scheduling, planning and calendar team in Latin America. Gustavo Grossmann is the Leader of GE Networks, with a unified team in charge of defining the content and programming strategy of linear pay TV brands, both basic and premium.
Ricardo “Richi” Pichetto continues as Production Leader, and will assume expanded responsibilities across GE’s combined portfolio, managing all content production and budget management for owned and operated platforms, including HBO Max, as well as those of other companies in pay TV, television open and digital.
The executive also oversees the development and execution of all unscripted sports productions, in collaboration with Fabio Medeiros, responsible for content of the new pan-regional brand TNT Sports, who reports to Yankelevich already Gustavo Minaker, Sports Leader, WarnerMedia Latin America & General Manager, WarnerMedia Chile. With a presence in Argentina, Brazil and Chile, it will seek expansion opportunities in new markets, offering a multi-screen proposal with a focus on fan engagement and promoting the development of sport in each country in the region.

Marcelo Tamburri continues to lead Scripted Content Development, and will take on expanded responsibilities across GE’s combined portfolio, including concept creation and project development for original scripted series for pay TV and / or HBO Max.
Andres Mendoza He was promoted Leader of Content Acquisition and Negotiations, providing strategic supervision in the purchase of multiplatform content for owned and operated services, including HBO Max, and will lead the negotiations with all external production providers. Flavia Vígio She was named Consumer Marketing and Public Relations Leader, concentrating the leadership of all GE communications and collaborating with the leaders of each of our brands.

Raul Hernandez has been named the Creative Services Leader of the entire unified portfolio – He leads a consolidated team representing a number of creative units previously aligned with the Turner, HBO and Cinemax, by incorporating InJaus, creative services, creative services for Consumer Marketing, and design for On-Air and Digital, into a creative hub that powers all GE brands and platforms, and will provide creative support to HBO Max.
Peter Bevan continues as Leader of Particular Crowd, the newest original film label that Yankelevich himself launched in early 2020, during NATPE Miami. He manages the development and production process of Particular Crowd, guaranteeing an attractive combination of films for owned and operated platforms, including syndication to third parties and cinemas.
Francisco Espinoza lead Chilevision, the open channel that Turner owns in Chile. He is responsible for designing and implementing the programming strategy and ensuring that the channel reaches its target audience and maintains the brand positioning goals.
Prior to this announcement, WarnerMedia had announced the departure of two historic HBO executives, Luis F. Peraza, President of HBO Latin America Networks, who will be in office until February 28, 2021, and Roberto Ríos, Corporate VP de Producciones Originales de HBO Latin America, which will continue with the company on February 20, 2021. Both had been part of the team that launched HBO in Latin America in 1991.
