Cristiano Ronaldo has long been choosing where his career will go after leaving Manchester United in November. He had offers from America and Europe, but his footsteps were directed towards Saudi Arabia. He joined the Al-Nassr team and will earn 200 million euros here, which translates into 4.8 billion Czech crowns.
Cristiano Ronaldo received an incredible welcome at Al-Nassru stadium. Crowds of fans flocked to welcome the newcomer to the team, filled the stadium. The Portuguese star was smiling and enjoying the great atmosphere.
The reception was accompanied by fireworks. After the show, Ronaldo entered the stadium for his first interview as an Al-Nassru player.
“I’m an exceptional player. I’ve broken all records in Europe and I want to break some here too. This contract is unique because I’m an exceptional player”, commented Ronaldo about his new workplace.

The Portuguese went on to say that he had many offers from Europe, Brazil, the United States and Australia. Portuguese teams were also interested in him, but he chose Saudi Arabia.

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a contract with the team until 2025. He will earn 200 million euros a year, which translates into 4.8 billion crowns. This record amount certainly appealed to Ronaldo, but he said in an interview that money was not the main factor for him in the move.
Al-Nassr plays in the top flight in Saudi Arabia, which they last won in 2019. However, they are in first place this year by one point ahead of Al-Shabab. Ronaldo could play his first game on Thursday 5/1 against Al Taee.
