NEW YORK. Hockey forward Tomáš Tatar scored another goal for Seattle and helped to win over Ottawa 4:1.
The goal was his only shot on goal. He prevailed in the second period when he made it 2-0, his strike was the winner.
Tatar took over the puck after a good pass from Eberle and rushed towards the goal. He didn’t shoot right away, he laid down the goalkeeper, went around the handle and finished with a forehand.

Erik Černák is still not playing due to injury. His Tampa won in Minnesota 4-1.
Nathan MacKinnon helped Colorado to a 5-4 overtime win at Dallas with two goals and an assist. He also scored the winning goal and in the second game in a row he decided in overtime and won for his team. He was only the second in the club’s history to do so.
MacKinnon tied Rus Kučerov for the NHL scoring lead. Both have 64 points after 39 games. They have an eleven-point advantage over the trio of Panarin, Pastrňák and McDavid in third place.
Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby recorded three points against Boston and played his 173rd game with one or more points. He thus surpassed Steve Yzerman, who had 172 such duels. Only six hockey players in NHL history have more than Crosby.
Kris Letang was also successful against the “bears”, scoring three times as well. The defender has already played the third game in a row at the opponent’s rinks, in which he scored at least three points.
Mathew Barzal had two assists for his 400th career point in the NY Islanders’ win at Arizona. He needed 457 games for that. Six players have done it faster in the club’s history.
In a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Finals, Florida bounced back from a loss to Vegas and enjoyed a 4-1 win to make it six games in a row. The defenders are not doing well, having suffered a loss in six of the last seven duels.
Winnipeg goaltender Connor Hellebuyck made 27 saves in a 2-1 win over San Jose, extending his team’s scoring streak to 11, setting a new club record.
He surpassed Michael Garnett, who had scored in ten straight games with the then-Atlanta club.
Thanks to the win, the Jets scored for the tenth time in a row, while the Sharks, on the other hand, lost for the tenth time.
