“It is hard for us to confirm that Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all his family by his side,” writes Kelsey Parker on Instagram. “Our hearts are broken. Tom was the center of our world and we cannot live our lives. without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are immensely grateful for all the love and support and we ask everyone to unite so that Tom’s light can continue to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported him. He fought until the last minute. I am forever proud of you.”

Parker first told in October 2020 that he had a brain tumor and was terminal. In February he underwent an experimental treatment in Spain, but it was to no avail. In March he was still on stage with The Wanted during their reunion concerts, although he had to move in a wheelchair. The musician leaves behind his wife Kelsey and two children.
