Vocalist Tom Parker struggled with a serious illness for a long time. The musician was informed about his death by his wife, with whom he had two children: Aurelia and Bodhi.

We would like to inform you with the heaviest heart that Tom passed away today in peace, in the presence of the whole family. Our hearts are broken, Tom was at the center of our world and we cannot imagine life without his contagious smile and energetic presence, Parker’s spouse wrote.

She also made an appeal. “We are really grateful for the love and support shown to us and we ask that we all unite so that Tom’s light will continue to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who supported him in caring for him all the time, he fought to the very end” – she added.

The funeral was private, but Parker’s fans lined up along the route. In this way, they paid tribute to him. The members of the band “The Wanted” carried the coffin with the singer’s body.

Tom Parker lost a hard fight
Parker died at the age of 33. Earlier, in 2020, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He tried to fight it with chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Those were the darkest days of my life. Walking over there and lying under the radiation machines was awful. Terrible and annoying. You think to yourself, ‘Will it do any good? Will it change anything? Does it make sense for me to do this now that I’m going to die anyway? I don’t want to go through this. And chemotherapy was brutal. I would not wish it to anyone – said the musician.
