MUSIC – It is an emotional moment on the sidelines of the war in Ukraine which began on February 24 with the Russian invasion.
From Bucharest train station in Romania, British singer Tom Odell played his 2012 hit on the piano Another Love in front of many Ukrainian refugees fleeing their country (see the video at the top of the article).
“I had the honor of singing Another Love at the Bucharest train station with many Ukrainian refugees”, shares the 31-year-old singer on his Instagram account. “Thousands of Ukrainians fleeing the war pass through this station every day and many have been traveling for 3 days without rest, uprooted from their homes, belongings, jobs and families. Their world has been turned upside down in unimaginable ways.”
“Most of them are women, children and old people, but what is most remarkable about all of them is their strength of spirit, it’s wonderful. They are formidable”, adds Tom Odell.
