Actor Tom Holland played “Spider-Man” for the first time already in 2017, and was still fairly new to the world of acting then.
During an interview with «Live With Kelly & Ryan» he recently told of a special incident in which his mother intervened.
All the mother wanted was to make things good for her son during his first “Spider-Man” recording, but Holland was not as tall in his hat when he realized what his mother had done.
Avoided pee breaks
As the “Spider-Man” suit did not have a zipper on it, the tight-fitting suit was very demanding to put on and take off when visiting the toilet.
As Holland was fairly new as an actor in 2017, he wanted to impress and would not be bothered by taking many breaks.
Therefore, he chose to stay as long as possible and avoided going to the toilet during the working days.
– I called mum and said: “Mum, I struggle because I work every day with the suit on and can not go to the toilet,” Holland says in the interview.

The mother complained
Two days later, the filmmaker came to Holland and asked how his kidneys were doing.

The actor explained that the kidneys were doing just fine, but wondered why the producer asked him such a question.
– He told me: “Well, your mother called us”, Holland says while the presenters start laughing.
The mother, Nikki Holland, did not let herself be stopped to make sure that her son was well at work.
– My mother called the largest studio in the world and said: “Give my son toilet breaks”, laughs Holland.
