American actor Tom Hanks has defended himself against accusations of nepotism in his new film. The film “A Man Called Otto” stars his son Truman and his wife Rita sings a song that he co-wrote while also co-producing the film. Hanks told Reuters that all of his family members are “very creative” and work in the same industry to some extent. It’s a “family business,” Hanks said, and just like a flower shop or craft business, everyone works in it. It shouldn’t matter if everyone had the same last name. It’s important that they work to create an “authentic viewer experience.”
