No matter whether as Ethan Hunt in the “Mission Impossible” series, Pete Mitchell in Top Gun, which surprisingly became the most successful film of the year in 2022 with the second part “Maverick”, or as Jack Reacher. Now the film studio Paramount has officially commissioned one of Cruise’s legendary roles to come back to the big screen. As the industry publications “Puck” and “The Hollywood Reporter” report, the script for “Top Gun 3” is already being worked on.
