When Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 hit the cinemas in July 2023, everything was set for a brilliant blockbuster. In the Corona-stricken year before, Tom Cruise managed the first billion-dollar hit of his unique Hollywood career with the action spectacle.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Teil 1 Easily conquered number 1 in the worldwide cinema charts. However, the blockbuster started a little weaker than initially assumed. And just a week later he was flattened by a screen duo that has never existed before in Hollywood history.
