Connor Cruise Offers Rare Glimpse into Low-Key Life with Golf Course Selfie
Connor Cruise, the son of Hollywood heavyweights Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, recently broke his social media silence with a sunshine-filled snapshot. The 29-year-old, known for fiercely guarding his privacy, shared a photo of himself and a friend enjoying a day on the green at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
In the photo, Connor sports a pair of shades and a blue hoodie emblazoned with an American flag. His pal, meanwhile, puts a friendly arm around his shoulder. The post, suggested a relaxed and contented Connor, far removed from the glittering world his parents inhabit.
This marks Connor’s first post since August, when he celebrated his pal Jack Vasilaros’s birthday with another rare photo featuring the two. "Happy birthday @hookedforlife," Connor wrote in the caption. Vasilaros, who runs fishing charters out of Florida, can be seen alongside Connor in a picture-perfect beachfront scene.
Connor’s social media presence is largely devoid of mentions of his famous parents. While he occasionally appears with his dad, often at Scientology-related events, he rarely posts photos with Kidman. He has, however, shared snaps with his sister Bella Kidman Cruise, who is also notoriously private.
Despite his low profile, Connor’s life occasionally intersects with the Hollywood landscape. In June, he and his father were photographed landing in London after a helicopter ride. And in July 2023, Connor made a red-carpet appearance at a promotional event for "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One" in New York City, walking alongside his dad.
Connor, a dedicated Scientologist like his father, resides in Clearwater, Florida, home to the Church of Scientology’s headquarters.
Connor and Bella were adopted during Kidman and Cruise’s 11-year marriage, which ended in 2001. Kidman went on to marry country music star Keith Urban, and they have two daughters, Sunday and Faith. Cruise later welcomed daughter Suri with actress Katie Holmes.
Though Connor remains largely out of the spotlight, his occasional social media glimpses offer a small window into a life spent navigating the complicated dynamics of family and fame on his own terms.
