Tom Clancy’s the Division film changes director

As fans eagerly await the premiere of The Division the film, a change of direction is announced so far led by Rawson Marshall Thurber who will replace David Leitch.

He had to resign as director due to scheduling conflicts that included his action movie Bullet Train, which he is currently filming, on the other hand, David Leitch will continue as producer.

Netflix acquired its rights in the summer of 2019 after a heated bidding war for the property. 87North Productions by Leitch and Kelly McCormick, Nine Stories by Gyllenhaal, Bad Version by Thurber and Ubisoft Film and Television are producing the film. Marshall will also co-write the script with Ellen Shanman.

Thurber already has strong ties to Netflix, as he recently directed Red Notice. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds, the film is considered one of the streamer’s biggest productions to date.

At the moment the film does not have a release date but we take the opportunity to see its spectacular progress again.
