Earlier in the summer, the American businessman, Tom Wagner bought himself into Birmingham City. With him into the club, he brings NFL icon Tom Brady with him.
Brady announced earlier this year that he is retiring as an active American football player and is now stepping into what he calls “soccer.” Birmingham announced on Thursday that Brady is investing in the club, but he will also have a practical role in the club.
– That Tom Brady steps into the club is a statement. We set the bar at world class. As chairman of the board of directors, Tom will have a direct impact on the club. Tom wants to make Birmingham a respected leader in nutrition, health and recovery, says club chairman Tom Wagner.
