Tom Brady debuts with loss to New Orleans Saints – Noticias en la Mira

Los Angeles, United States.- The quarterback Tom Brady began this Sunday his stage in Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 34-23 loss to New Orleans Saints at the opening of the 2020 football season.

Brady, who joined the Buccaneers in March after finishing his 20 year reign as New England Patriots quarterback, was caught three times and intercepted two as the Saints were victorious.

It was an awkward premiere for Brady, 43 years, considered the best quarterback in NFL history with six Super Bowl titles.

Even if Brady got off to a good start with the game’s first touchdown, Tampa Bay he was almost always behind in the game.

Los Saints tied through a touchdown of Alvin Kamara and then took the lead after the first interception of Brady of the day he gave up possession and Chamber got his second touchdown.

A field goal from Wil Lutz put New Orleans ahead 17-7 at halftime and extended their lead to 24-7 early in the third quarter, when Brady was intercepted by Janoris Jenkins, who returned for a touchdown.

Although Buccaneers closed the gap to seven points with a field goal and a touchdown, the Saints quarterback, Drew Brees, found Emmanuel Sanders for another touchdown and leave the New Orleans team in full control.

Brady finished the game with 23 passes completed in 36 attempts, with 239 yards and two touchdowns.
