Toluca, new leader of the Liga Mx; thrash Atlas 4-1

Mexico City. Toluca has not lost a home game since October of last year. As in their most winning era in the Liga Mx, each match ruthlessly imposes greater difficulty on their rivals. Against Atlas, on matchday 14 of the regular phase, the Devils remained in full swing and won 4-1 at the Nemesio Díez stadium.

With the sub-leader America on his heels, the players led by the Portuguese Renato Paiva erased any dark cloud on the horizon. Now they have the door open to finish among the first four places, being leaders with 29 points and with a better goal difference. With the victory of the home team already underway, Rivaldo Lozano converted the discount for the Foxes (87) and Édgar López made the fourth and final score (90+3).
