Star player and veteran in Tokyo VerdyJunki Koike, welcomes you coming Primary Arhan to the club.
Koike, who is a versatile midfielder, is flattered by the support the Indonesian people have for him and the Verdy club.
“I received many messages from Indonesia. Arhan is loved. I will do my best together when he comes to Japan. Thank you for your support!” wrote Koike via Instastory on Thursday (17/2) night.
The 34-year-old will be one of the seniors who is expected to set an example for young players like Arhan. With experience defending several top Japanese league clubs such as Urawa Reds, Yokohama FC, and JEF United Chiba, Keiko deserves to be an example.
During his uniform with Tokyo Verdy, Keiko has appeared in 185 matches in all competitions, contributing 48 goals and 24 assists. He has defended the Japanese capital club since the 2018/2019 season. He has also been in Verdy’s uniform for one year in 2011-2012.
Another Tokyo Verdy player, Koken Kato was also impressed by Arhan’s Primary arrival. He didn’t expect Arhan to have such a big impact on his team.

Just two days after announcing the transfer of Primary Arhan, Tokyo Verdy is now the Japanese league club with the most followers on Instagram, surpassing Vissel Kobe.
The number of followers on the Tokyo Verdy Instagram account as of Friday (18/2) morning reached 291,000. Meanwhile, Vissel Kobe, who previously topped the Instagram followers standings, is still in the range of 280 thousand.
The surge of Verdy’s followers on Instagram rose following the announcement of Arhan joining the Japanese capital club on Wednesday (16/2).
