In the Czech Republic, they approved a reward of 2.4 million Czech crowns (in terms of 94,214 euros) for the gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics. Silver Czechs will receive CZK 1.8 million (EUR 70,658) and bronze Czechs CZK 1.2 million (EUR 47,105).
The Slovak gold medalist will receive a reward of 50,000 euros, for silver 40,000 and for bronze 30,000 euros.

The Olympics continues on the 11th competition day. There will be two Slovaks in action.
Speed canoeist Peter Gelle will perform early in the morning in the semifinals of K1 at 1000 m to fight for participation in the subsequent final.
There will also be a sprinter in action Ján Volko, which will start at 200 m, a possible semifinal is on the program in the afternoon of Slovak time.
