Fifteen years ago the German band Tokio Hotel released their monster hit “Durch den Monsun”. To celebrate that, the band around the Kaulitz brothers has released a new version of their hit song.

Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer have released a new version of the song “Durch den Monsun”. “We thought about what ‘Monsun’ would sound like when we first recorded it in 2020,” Bill told N-TV. For example, the band talked about an acoustic version. “We worked with producers and had the song remixed. But somehow it didn’t go well. ”
For Georg Listing, the song is more than just a memory. “It’s a song that has accompanied us for the past 15 years. With the reworked song we combine all the great successes we have had over the years. We played the song under the Eiffel Tower on the French National Day in front of 500,000 people, we played it on our first American show and on every subsequent tour it was always the highlight. ”
But it doesn’t stop there. A new album and tour will follow next year.
