If you Tokyo Clanpool If you still know it, then you are already quite familiar with the dungeon RPG genre. Tokyo Clanpool was originally released in Japan in 2017 and developed by Compile Heart, when the PS Vita was still current.
A few months ago, publisher Eastasiasoft announced a new edition of the game for Nintendo Switch and PC Steam localization for the first time should be received for the West. But only parts of it come to fruition.
Today Eastasiasoft announced the specific date of December 19, 2024, but the Steam version has been canceled. Instead, the dungeon RPG takes place a home at GOG. Today’s press release doesn’t mention the change in one syllable, but there will presumably be reasons for it.
This is Tokyo Clanpool
The setting of Tokyo Clanpool is Japan isolated from the outside world after a mysterious tower appears and the country is invaded by monsters. A new organization “Cyber Tactics Cabinet” has been founded to take on the fight against demons.
Entrusted with supporting the people is the new Prime Minister, a girl named Natsume Kannuki. She leads the girls as they go into battle against the threat. Your enemy is the demonic building “Dark World Diet Tower”, which has swallowed the “National Diet Building”.
As is often the case with Eastasiasoft, there is a commercial version at Play Asia* – the Limited Edition for Switch, limited to 3,000 units, is currently still available for pre-order. There is also a standard version for Switch.
