Successful water slalom skiers from VŠC Dukla Banská Bystrica Jakub Grigar, Eliška Mintálová and Monika Škáchová enjoy great interest from fans after returning from the Olympic Games. “We arrived on Saturday evening and already on Sunday morning we were greeted by the whole boating community in Liptovský Mikuláš. They came from other places as well. I am happy that I was able to be at the Olympics and show my performances, show what I have. The final ride was not ideal , I’m not happy with her or with the passage of time, but just because I could introduce myself in the finals, I’m happy for that.
I hope to learn from the mistakes and correct it in the future. It was a great experience for me, I brought new experiences and I think it will move me forward, “said Škáchová.
