EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- The lawyer Félix Portes, legal representative of the urban artist Tokischa, assured this Monday that the young woman is sorry for having desecrated the sanctuary of the Virgin of Our Lady of La Altagracia (Virgen del Puerto), located on the Federico Basilis highway, in Bayacanes, in the province of La Vega.
Through her Twitter account, Portes also indicated that the 25-year-old singer “has repented and asks sincere formal excuses from society, vegans and Catholics, whom she respects, since her artistic expressions were never intended to offend.”
He also pointed out that his client has not yet been formally notified about the complaint against him filed last Friday by the mayor of La Vega, Kelvin Cruz.

After the artist published on her social networks some photographs that saw her pose in a sexy way and with little clothes, the sanctuary of the Virgin of Our Lady of La Altagracia, the mayor Kelvin Cruz made public knowledge that he complained against the music interpreter urban, for having desecrated the sacred place.
“At the mayor’s office we have received complaints and disagreements from the highest representatives of the Catholic Church, authorities, and believers of the people for the reprehensible action of the artist, said Cruz.
