The Kazakh leader said that the constitutional reform will be implemented “clearly and consistently”.
“We are moving towards a new form of the country’s political structure,” Tokayev stressed.
In addition, the country’s economy awaits “cardinal changes” to improve the well-being of citizens.
“To realize all these goals, we need unity. Therefore, I invite all of you to unity!” – said the leader in the presidential election.
As for the election campaign itself, according to Tokayev, “it was fair and open” and all presidential candidates had equal opportunities, there were no restrictions on candidates.
“They freely visited the regions, met with voters, campaigned… Every voter was given freedom of choice. Therefore, this campaign was fair and open,” the politician said.
