The Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has formulated new requirements with which the clubs will have to comply before the resumption of the new sports season 2020-2021. An insurance policy and the provision of a staff are now required for clubs.
It is through a circular note addressed to the leaders of the clubs of D1 and D2 that the Togolese Football Federation (FTF) announced the new requirements which will have to frame the new sports season. A few weeks before the effective resumption of the new season, the Togolese Football Federation requires clubs to have qualified medical staff and take out an insurance policy.
“With a view to regulating and promoting the health professions specializing in sporting pathologies and athlete’s lifestyle on the one hand, and encouraging clubs to ensure serious medical monitoring of players on the other hand, all Togo’s 1st or 2nd division football club must have medical staff ”, we can read in the letter.
For these clubs engaged in the D1 and D2 championship, it will be a question of having permanent members composed of a doctor, a physiotherapist and / or an osteopath. To this are added the non-permanent or part-time members, composed of a podiatrist, a dietitian, a dentist, and another a psychologist.
In addition, specifies the note, the presidents of the clubs are invited to take out an insurance policy for the players and the technical staffs (medical staff including), in accordance with article 28 of the general regulations of the FTF.
