Togo – Adébayor affair: comedian Gogoligo and singer Papson placed under arrest warrant




Arrested following a complaint filed by the former captain of the Togolese Hawks, Emmanuel Adébayor, the Togolese comedian Gogoligo and the singer Papson Moutité, were heard on Wednesday by the public prosecutor.

After 5 days in police custody at the Lomé Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC, ex anti-gang), Gogoligo and Papson accused by Adébayor, were heard behind closed doors on Wednesday. During their incarceration, the two accused showed signs of poor health. Gogoligo was evacuated on Sunday at the Gendarmerie Medico-Social Center after a crisis. For his part, Papson suffers from bipolar disorder.
