On Sunday, 13.09.2020 at around 2.40 p.m., a 59-year-old man drove the L 151 with his Yamaha uphill from Präg in the direction of the Hochkopf pass. In a left curve he came off the road to the right and hit a delineator post and a concrete shaft. Due to the impact with the concrete shaft, the 59-year-old rolled over and came to rest on the road.
The motorcycle driver was seriously injured in the accident
and was taken to the university clinic in Freiburg by the rescue helicopter. According to witnesses, the cause of the accident could be that the motorcyclist adjusted his mirror on the motorcycle and thus saw an oncoming vehicle too late, was frightened and jerked his machine to the right. Property damage to the Yamaha amounted to 7,500 euros.
