This was stated by the Minister of Education Todor Tanev to journalists in the parliament, reported a BGNES reporter.

Let the audience think whether I can decapitate the Ministry of Education and Culture right now, create fear among the other experts at a time when they are doing their work”, Tanev specified. He stated that he would not incentivize the people in question, but there would also be no turning a blind eye to what was to come. “I think like our nation, I have no impure thoughts,” Tanev assured the media.
He indicated that he would probably propose that the committees that would approve the textbooks be randomly selected from a pool that is pre-tested for what connections there are, whether covert or overt. Something must be done – commissions are the mildest medicine, believes Todor Tanev.
Once again, he clarified that it would be gossip if he said in advance who exactly from his team would leave, but still pointed out that it was someone or some of his political cabinet.

The MPs from the group of Karakachanov and Simeonov demanded the resignations of Tanev’s deputy Vanya Kastreva, the head of his office and the head of the Directorate “Educational Programs” in the ministry. According to the MPs, history cannot be changed.
