She didn’t like the monument to her father in the City Garden in Shumen, the sculptor was from Shumen, but why wasn’t there a competition… In general, the whole work was from Shumen, says Koleva, and she wouldn’t come to the opening.
If she had the necessary upbringing, the lady would thank the local community. I myself dropped a few leva from my modest pension into the donation box at the “Tranchev” store. And many more residents of Shumen helped with personal funds to have a monument to the great comedian Todor Kolev in his hometown.
Koleva’s words did not overshadow the opening of the sculptural composition, as Hristo Mutafchiev called it. He came especially for the occasion and gave a wonderful speech. Among the guests was the son of Todor Kolev – Alexander, a very nice young man. At least he knows how to behave, apparently.
