The police officers of Rotterdam Hoogvliet report this on Instagram. The toddler is said to have run away while the parents were still asleep. He then walked to the metro station in Hoogvliet.
“He spoke no Dutch,” the police officers wrote. “It was not easy, but with the help of the neighborhood we found his home again and we reunited the toddler with his parents.”
