The Lebanese Meteorological Authority announced that “autumn weather dominates the eastern Mediterranean basin until next Monday at noon, when it turns into volatile weather due to the influence of relatively cold air masses.”
Expected weather in Lebanon:
Sunday: Partially cloudy, with unchanged temperatures on the coast and in the hinterland, slightly decreasing on the hills, in the evening also localized mists at high altitudes.
Monday: Partially cloudy with the beginning of a slight drop in temperatures and the formation of local mists on the hills starting in the afternoon with condensing clouds and the weather preparing for scattered rains.
Tuesday: partly cloudy to partly cloudy with a further limited drop in temperatures and formation of fog on the hills. Sporadic, sometimes heavy rains fall, especially in the south of the country, with the possibility of lightning and thunder and wind activity. Snow falls at dawn , starting from a height of 1800 meters and above.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, temperatures slightly increasing on the coast, and decreasing on the hills and inland. Sporadic rains, sometimes thick with fog, fall on the heights, and snowfalls during the day, starting from an altitude of 2100 m beyond.
