Today’s MotoGP standings, Valentino Rossi is scattered from the championship competition: Okezone Sports

TITLE MotoGP 2020 will soon enter the sixth series. However, MotoGP lovers still have to be patient because the race that will take place at the San Marino Circuit will be held next week.

Even so, before going far into next week, it will be interesting to see how the riders are positioned on the standings. Until the fifth series, the Petronas Yamaha SRT Team racer, Fabio Quartararo, still leads the standings.

Quartararo is still at the top after collecting 70 points. The two successive victories that Quartararo won in the Spanish and Andalusian MotoGP were a big capital for him to occupy the top position.

However, the Ducati Team racer, Andrea Dovizioso, still stuck to Quartararo. The Italian passport racer is only three points away from Quartararo, who appears quite stable until the fifth series.

In third place is the Australian passport racer, Jack Miller. The Pramac Ducati Team racer successfully finished third after collecting 56 points. His consistency in the last two races managed to boost him to the top three.

The rookie racer, Brad Binder, still shows his consistency. The South African passport racer managed to occupy fourth place with 49 points. However, Binder received a tight escort from Maverick Vinales who was in fifth position.

Vinales, who is a Yamaha factory team racer, is only one point away from Binder. However, he was also pinned tight by four other riders such as Takaaki Nakagami, Valentino Rossi, Joan Mir, and Miguel Oliveira.

Especially for Rossi, this result is certainly not optimal. Because if you reflect on the five series that have taken place, VR46 riders are classified as consistent among Yamaha riders. Unfortunately, his position is still inferior to Quartararo and Vinales.

Valentino Rossi

Rossi has currently collected 45 points. The highest achievement was obtained in the 2020 Andalusian MotoGP when they won the third podium and performed successfully with Quartararo and Vinales who were ranked first and second.
