DOHA – Season 2021 has officially started with the holding of free practice sessions I and II MotoGP Qatar at the Losail Circuit, Friday 26 March 2021. Today, Saturday (27/3/2021), the night of WIB, the last two free practice sessions will take place. Meanwhile, the qualifying session will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021, early morning WIB.
Free practice session 1 spawned Franco Morbidelli from Petronas Yamaha SRT as the fastest racer with a record time of 1 minute 54.921 seconds. Morbidelli was trailed by Aleix Espargaro from Aprilia Gresini and Ducati Lenovo racer Jack Miller.
However, Morbidelli could not maintain his position in the free practice session 2. Morbidelli fell to seventh position due to 0.289 seconds difference from Miller who ended the second free practice session in first place.
Miller was followed by teammate at Ducati, Francesco Bagnaia, and Monster Energy Yamaha racer, Fabio Quartararo. The surprise came when Pramac Ducati rider Johann Zarco finished fourth, better than Alex Rins of Suzuki Ecstar in fifth.

The Doctor – the nickname Rossi – is in ninth position in the 1st free practice session with a time of 1 minute 55.419 seconds. Rossi occupies a similar position in free practice session 2 because of 0.487 seconds difference from Miller’s record time in first position.
Rossi’s performance has not matched the expectations of his fans who want to see The Doctor perched in first position. However, Rossi still has the opportunity to make it happen in free practice sessions 3 and 4.
Free practice session 3 will take place from 19.15-20.00 WIB. Furthermore, the 4 free practice sessions will take place from 23.20-23.50 WIB.

The qualifying session will take place on Sunday 28 March 2021, 00.00-00.40 WIB. If Rossi is able to show off in the last two free practice sessions and qualification, the Italian racer has hopes of shining in the Qatar MotoGP 2021, Monday, March 29, 2021, early morning WIB.
