“I look forward to it being filled with articles showing that meaningful results were achieved in today’s meeting between the President and our CEO Han Dong-hoon.”
The Democratic Party of Korea also expressed its position, saying, “How about a private meeting? What about a face-to-face meeting?” and “I hope for good results.”
He also asked, “This is a time when a change in the government policy is absolutely necessary, so please persuade the President well.”

“The two of you are meeting today, and I hope that you will not end it with excuses or formalities, but will be forward-thinking and produce a positive result.”
However, there was also a demand that “in addition to personnel reform of the President’s Office, we must ask the President to fully accept the ‘First Lady Kim Kun-hee Special Prosecutor Act’.”
This meeting, which took place a month after Representative Han’s request for a private meeting, was held in the form of a ‘three-party meeting’ with Chief Secretary Jeong Jin-seok in attendance, rather than a private meeting.
In today’s meeting, Representative Han is expected to mention three demands, including a promise to stop Mrs. Kim Kun-hee’s external activities, personnel reform of the President’s Office, and cooperation in the process of investigating Ms. Kim’s suspicions.
Meanwhile, first lady Kim Kun-hee and her mother Choi Eun-soon did not appear before the National Assembly’s Legislative and Judiciary Committee’s Supreme Prosecutors’ Office inspection, in which they were selected as witnesses, and the Legislative and Judiciary Committee, led by opposition party members, issued an accompanying order for the two.
