Handling Task Force Covid-19 record the number of additions Corona virus vaccination in Indonesia penetrated 2,415,382 doses in a day, Wednesday (14/7).
The details of the data collected by the Covid Task Force in the last 24 hours until 12.00 WIB were 1,994,826 for the first dose of injection, and 420,556 for the second dose of injection.
Cumulatively, the Task Force also recorded that the first dose of vaccination reached 38,909,433 doses, while the second dose was at 15,611,554.
When calculated with the government’s new vaccination target, it is 208,265,720 people. That means, the achievement of the first dose has only reached 18.68 percent, while for the second dose of vaccine it has only reached 7.49 percent.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had previously asked his staff to boost the rate of vaccination by one million doses per day in July, to 2 million doses in August 2021. This was following the condition of the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine which was claimed to be safe in the second half of this year.
When viewed in the last two weeks, the target of a million doses per day only occurred in three days, namely July 1 with 1,063,908 doses, followed by July 6 with 1,105,807 doses and on July 9 1,160,956 doses.
Meanwhile, on other days in July, the average was 500 thousand per day, and it even decreased to 115,961 doses on 11 July, and 126,292 doses on 12 July. But on this day skyrocketed and penetrated 2.4 million in a day.
When questioning the availability of vaccines, the latest data as of July 13, Indonesia has received a total of 137,611,540 vaccines, with details of 115,500,280 bulk or raw vaccines, and 22,111,260 finished vaccines from Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, and Moderna.
The bulk vaccine processed by PT Bio Farma (Persero) is processed into 93 million doses of the finished vaccine. So that the availability of Indonesian vaccines, both those that have been used and those that have not, is currently 115,111,260 doses.
As for now, the development of vaccination in Indonesia has entered the third stage which began in early July. In the third stage, the government is targeting 141,211,181 million general public aged over 18 years, parallel to 26,705,490 children aged 12-17 years.
Even so, the first stage, which targeted 1,468,764 million health workers for the second dose, still did not reach 2.59 percent of the target. Similarly, for the second stage of vaccination targeting 21,553,118 elderly and 17,327,167 public service officers, it is still not 100 percent complete.
