On February 19, 1953, Christina Elizabeth Fernandez, President of Argentina, was born, she obtained a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, she worked as a lawyer, and held the position of a former elder from the province of Buenos Aires, and she is the wife of former Argentine President Nestor Kirchner, and the elected president of the Peronist Party.
She began her political career as a member of the Young Peronist Movement in 1970 in the Santa Cruz region, and rose through the party positions until she won the 1995 elections to represent the province in the Senate, and she also won a seat in the Senate for the second time in the 2005 elections for the Buenos Aires region. Until she won the presidential elections “like today” on October 28, 2007, with 44.6% of the vote, compared to 22.6% for former MP Elisa Carrillo, to succeed her husband. She was elected to a second presidential term on October 23, 2011 by more. Out of 54% of the vote, she took the oath before Parliament on December 10, 2011.
