Mass demo rejecting the increase in the price of fuel oil (BBM) is still ongoing today. Today’s mass demonstrations are spread across 6 points in the Jabodetabek agglomeration area.
“Polda Metro Jaya anticipates the demonstrations by deploying 6,142 staff members to oversee and maintain the demonstrations in different locations in Jakarta, Bekasi and Depok,” explained Polda Metro’s head of public relations Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan in a statement to detik.comThursday (15/9/2022).
As for, demonstration against BBM today There are 6 points, namely the Horse Statue, the DPR / MPR Building, the Depok City DPRD Building, the Bekasi City DPRD, the Bekasi City Government and the Bekasi Regency Government. The demonstration was conducted by 6 groups of mass elements, most of which were students.

The Metro Police appealed to the masses to demonstrate in an orderly and safe manner. Protesters are urged to respect the interests of other road users.
“We hope that protesters hold demonstrations in an orderly and safe manner and do not interfere with the interests of other people. Please convey what they aspire to, do it in an orderly manner and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” he said.
