Quoting from the official LAPAN Space Science Education website, Leonis Minorid is a minor meteor shower whose radian point (the point of origin of the meteor’s appearance) is near the constellation Leo Minor. The source of this meteor shower comes from the dust remnants of the hyperbolic comet C/1739 K1 (Zanotti).

The intensity of this meteor shower varies in several regions of Indonesia. From Sabang to Rote Island, the intensity of the Leonios Minorid meteor shower reaches 3.8-4.6 meteors per hour.

This difference is because the radian point culminates at an altitude of 49.3 to 66.3 degrees north. Meanwhile, the intensity of the meteor shower at the zenith (the point in space directly above the observer) is 5 meteors per hour.
