The eminent actress turned her whole life upside down.
Oleg Stefanko became a Soviet movie star and a women’s favorite after appearing in the film In Search of Captain Grant. But he could not stay on the wave of success: in the early 90’s the actor emigrated to the United States, and was almost forgotten at home.
Today in Stefanko you don’t recognize that blond handsome man from the films of the 80s at all: Oleg has aged and matured. This is not surprising, because the actor’s fate was not easy.
More recently, the artist made a shocking confession, naming the culprit, or rather the culprit, because of which his life was turned upside down. It was the legendary actress Elina Bystritskaya, who had a personal dislike for Stefanko. There was a serious conflict between Oleg and the prima theater when they played the same performance. At the initiative of Elina Abramovna, it was extended by 40 minutes so that he would be on stage as long as possible. Stefanko tried to prove that because of this the whole performance was ruined, but Bystritskaya gave him a huge scandal. The actor had to leave the theater and later emigrated to the United States, because there was no work in Russia.
In the 2000s, Stefanko returned to his homeland and became a successful serial actor. He talked about his tortuous path to success in the My Hero program with Tatyana Ustinova.
