Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – DKI Jakarta again created a record for Covid-19 confirmation on Sunday (6/9). After three days ago (3/9) there was a record increase of 1,359 cases, which became the highest.
Today, DKI Jakarta has recorded the second highest increase in cases with 1,176 cases. Previously, positive cases in Jakarta had reached a record high on August 30, 2020 with the addition of 1,094 cases.
That way, the total number of cases in Jakarta has reached 45,157 people, and continues to establish itself as the province with the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Indonesia.
The high number of cases in Jakarta recently is thought to be due to the long holiday in mid-August. In fact, throughout August the Corona cases in Jakarta increased by 18,687 people, and several times broke records with the addition of more than 1,000 new patients per day.
Apart from DKI Jakarta, there are several provinces that also continue to occupy the most positive cases. In second place is East Java with 35,331 cases and Central Java with 15,118 cases.
Nationally, in the last 24 hours there were an additional 3,444 cases in 34 provinces and 489 city districts. This data is the second highest number after the addition of cases on 3 September with 3,622 cases. a total of recorded positive cases of Covid-19 have infected 194,109 people.
While the total number of patients recovered as of September 6, 2020 reached 138,575 or an increase of 2,174 patients recovered.
While the official website of the Ministry of Health also released a total of Covid-19 cases which caused death to reach 8,025 people or an increase of 85 cases from the previous day.
