Jolien Roets called in Sean Dhondt’s help for the proposal. He performed a special version of ‘My heart will go on’, the bride-to-be’s favorite song. When Joachim proposed to her, Josien shouted ‘yes’ wholeheartedly. We cannot speak of a long engagement, because Qmusic is organizing the couple’s wedding in exactly one week. Josien and Joachim are then again in the same place on the beach of Ostend. Jolien announced that double surprise to Josien when she gave her a ‘save the date’ for her own wedding. “What?! I just don’t know what to say. Wow!” it sounded.

Roets knows what to do next week, because she took on the role of wedding planner. In doing so, she can use all the help of the listeners and other DJs. That is why the ‘Q-Wedding in a Week’ will start to give Josien and Joachim an unforgettable day. Every weekday between 4 and 7 pm, Jolien gives an update on the progress of the preparations during her show. On the big day, Thursday 11 August, she will make a special broadcast in which she follows the wedding party live.
