today the mustache of teleshopping is at the fish counter

Impossible to forget his wild teleshopping: Roberto Da Crema, said the Mustache o Cream mustache or Prince of the night, in the 80s and 90s he was a very popular face of television, due to the immoderate exuberance (and characterized by the unmistakable labored breathing) with which he tried to sell products to viewers. What happened to him now that he is substantially far from television (even if in May he appeared on Rete 4 in Dalla parte degli animali and until a few years ago he was a columnist for Barbara D’Urso)?

Roberto Da Crema is a fisherman

The 68-year-old former Milanese barker has moved to Lampedusa together with his wife Raffaella. As he explained in an interview with Nuovo Tv, goes fishing on a boat every morning at 6 and he goes to the market, where the islanders often see him behind the fish counter, selling products: “When the fishermen saw my great passion they began to invite me on their fishing boats. And now, every now and then, I sell the fish behind the market stall. I do it for fun“. In reality it is in fact a hobby, more than a job: Roberto Da Crema gives the fish to the fish market, in exchange for some information on the best places to go fishing. His income comes from a company in Milan of stock and goods exchange, managed by the children Morris and Valentina: “Now I am also an employee of theirs so they give me my salary“. His return to television is not excluded: after his experience in reality TV The farm in 2004 (where it was expelled for a blasphemy) the Baffo would not mind doing the Island of the Famous, also to show his excellent skills as a fisherman.

3 curiosities about Roberto Da Crema

1 – He was also an actor: Il Baffo starred in two films, the comedian Turnkey (1996) by Mariano Laurenti and Per Case (1999) by Giuseppe Conti (dedicated to his life, in which he plays himself), as well as in the series Nebbia in Valpadana with Cochi and Renato (2000) and in an episode of Camera Café (2008). Most recently, he offered a cameo in the Romulus + Giuly parody series: The Italian World War (2018).

2- Not even a short one was missing musical parenthesis: in 1995 he recorded a dance music EP entitled “Vendo (Parola di Baffo)”.

3- During the 2008/09 football season he was a public relations officer for Sondrio Calcio, team that at the time was in Excellence.
