Today, the Military History Museum has free admission and a festive program – 2024-08-26 06:42:46

/ world today news/ The National Museum of Military History (NMMH) will welcome its visitors on the holiday of the Bulgarian Army and Day of Courage – May 6, with free entry from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the permanent chronological and external exhibition. Apart from it, a special photo exhibition dedicated to the history and traditions of celebrating St. George’s Day in the army will be presented today.

In the traditional attraction “Exhibits come to life”, this year visitors will have the opportunity to look inside the cockpits of the MiG-21 bis fighter-interceptor, the MI-8 transport helicopter and the control rooms of the Tundzha self-propelled mortar, the mobile radio altimeter PRV-11 “Vershina” ” and 2K 52 Frog “Luna-M” missile complex.

To immerse yourself in military life and traditions, at 12:00 p.m. visitors will be able to taste bean soup prepared by a real military cook in field conditions.

With an Open Day, the holiday will also be celebrated in the branches of the Naval Museum – the Naval Museum and the Park-Museum of Combat Friendship – 1444 in Varna and the Museum of Aviation in Krumovo, where visitors will have free access to the Su-22 aircraft and An-14.
