Baroja through Madrid

It is not the first time that the Municipality celebrates the city’s classic literature. Last year we found several activities dedicated to the Galician author Emilia Pardo Bazán, for the anniversary of her death. Or the previous one by Benito Pérez Galdós.

This year the program is called Baroja through Madrid. And in addition to giving away the book, we also find an illustrated map of the author’s most emblematic places; or also, guided walks for Barojian Madrid, which will take place on December 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 and are totally free.

Madrid is a curious city, more interesting than many large cities and many outwardly typical cities, for having a special character, the character of the city, tall, dry, hard.
