Laredo, Texas.- Agents of the Border Patrol of the Sector from Laredo assigned to the Zapata Station and Troopers of the Department from Texas Public Safety (DPS) rescued and provided aid to a lost person south of Laredo.
The rescue occurred when officers responded to a report from the DPS of several individuals lost near Dolores Creek South of the city.
One of the individuals had passed out and the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) de la Border Patrol they arrived at the place to begin treatment.
As the undocumented migrant from Mexico responded favorably to medical aid, the Emergency Medical Services of the County from Zapata They arrived to transport the individual to hospital for further treatment.
The Laredo Sector Border Patrol cannot emphasize enough the dangers and risks that undocumented individuals pose during their journey to the USA.
They are subjected to human smugglers who guide them through remote areas during hot summer temperatures and abandon them at the first sign of danger.
The agents of the Laredo Sector they will continue to provide aid to those exploited and abandoned by human traffickers.
