After the actress Laura Pons pointed out Arturo Macías for sexual abuse during the afternoon of this Wednesday, the production of the program “Hoy” suspended the announcer.
In a statement released through social networks, Televisa announced the measure taken after Pons’ revelations in a television program.
“Given the accusation made by Laura Pons and while the authorities rule, Arturo Macías is provisionally suspended from the production of Hoy”they wrote.
The announcer defended himself through a message on Instagram in which he thanked the messages of support he received, denied the accusations, said he highly respected women at all times and announced that he would soon give a legal position to this case.
Pons related in Windowing, during an interview, that at the age of 17 he was the victim of the also driver, for which he plans to file a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office shortly (FGR).
“I was sexually abused by the announcer Arturo Macías. My family and I met him at an Expo XV years. At that time my family was economically vulnerable and he supported them by giving them some radio products, records, material so that my family could sell them and we could get ahead “, Pons explained.
After giving these gifts to his family, Macías invited Pons to eat and go to the movies, who asked his parents for permission to attend the meeting.
However, at the time of the appointment, after obtaining permission, the announcer took Pons, who was a minor at the time, to a motel.

When they arrived at the site where the sexual abuse was allegedly carried out, Pons assured that since she did not know anything about sexual matters, she was scared when she was undressed and when she saw, for the first time in her life, a naked subject.
Pons continued his story and said that Macías got into a jacuzzi, which she entered at his insistence, then the announcer began to masturbate and put the actress to watch pornography.
