A dangerously high temperature warning remains in effect today in many areas of the country, BNT said.
In the region of Blagoevgrad, the warning of the second level, code orange, is for the maximum temperature of about 38 ° -39 °, in the rest of the country – between 34 ° and 37 °, in Sofia – about 34 ° , on the coastal sea – from 28 ° to 30 °.
It will be sunny, with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon in the western and central parts of the country. It will continue to blow weakly, in the eastern regions and on the Black Sea – moderate wind, now with direction from the north-east. Windy and unseasonably warm in the mountains too, where there will also be afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
And in the coming days, there will be isolated afternoon showers, especially in the mountainous areas, and the temperature will drop slightly.
