Today Renfe is selling tickets for the new AVE service that connects Valencia with Burgos. This service will be in circulation starting from 23 January 2023 and will be offered through 12 weekly frequencies, 6 per direction, without the need to make a bank transfer, as reported by the company.

Today Renfe is selling tickets for the new AVE service that connects Valencia with Burgos. This service will be in circulation starting from 23 January 2023 and will be offered through 12 weekly frequencies, 6 per direction, without the need to make a bank transfer, as reported by the company.
The travel time is set at 3 hours and 39 minutes for the AVE in the direction of Valencia and 3 hours and 47 minutes for the AVE in the direction of Burgos, with a “very competitive” saving in travel time compared to current travel options. The new direct AVE service will serve to offer new travel possibilities between the Valencian Community and Castilla y Len
The new AVE between the two cities will operate from Monday to Saturday in the direction of Valencia, departing from the capital Burgos at 6:40, and from Monday to Friday and Sunday, in the direction of Burgos, departing from Valencia at 5:00: 40h.
These new AVE connections from Valencia Joaqun Sorolla to Burgos Rosa Manzano reinforce the already existing offer of direct services between the Valencian Community and Castilla y León. Alvia Alicante-Santander and Castell-Valncia-Gijn were added last July since the resumption of the Alicante-Gijn relationship, in addition to the transversal AVE Alicante-Zamora-Ourense and Alicante-Len which started operating as direct trains last year September.
