Tonight, there will be almost no precipitation in the northwestern half of the country. Cloudiness will break and decrease, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reported, BTA reported.
In the southeastern half, precipitation will continue, in the mountainous and northeastern regions it will be snow, a thin snow cover will form, in other places it will rain. The wind will be moderate, in the Danube plain and Eastern Bulgaria – temporarily strong from the west-northwest, and it will create conditions for blizzards in the areas with snowfall. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3° and 2°, in Sofia – around minus 3°.
During the day, it will still rain in the southeastern half of the country, in Northeastern Bulgaria, Eastern Stara Planina and Strandzha – snow, in the rest of the regions – mainly rain. By around noon, the rain will stop almost everywhere, from the northwest, the clouds will continue to break up and decrease. The wind will weaken, after noon in Western Bulgaria it will subside, in Eastern Bulgaria it will move from the northeast. The maximum temperatures will be between 2° and 7°, in the extreme south-western regions – slightly higher, in Sofia – around 3°.
Cloudiness will be significant along the Black Sea coast today. There will be showers mainly before noon,
more significant along the southern coast, and in the north the rain will mix and change to snow. The wind will be moderate, temporarily strong, from the north-northwest, after noon it will weaken, it will be oriented from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be 4°-6°. The temperature of the sea water is 10°-12°. The excitement of the sea will be 3 points, in the southern regions after noon – 4 points.
Cloudiness will be significant in the mountains before noon, with snow showers in places, but they will weaken, by around noon in most areas they will stop. After noon, the cloud from the northwest will break and decrease. It will blow to moderate, along the ridge – a temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest, which will turn from the southwest later in the afternoon. The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be about 4°, at 2000 meters – about minus 2°.
