Dr. Muhammad Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Information Center at the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, confirmed that what is happening in weather condition This period is an extension of the Red Sea depression “Sudan’s hot seasonal”, and it came somewhat earlier than its normal date, and coincided with another depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which is a cold depression, so the two depressions converged, causing this situation, as happened in the Dragon Storm, but the matter is somewhat different. .

He added: There was rain And lightning and thunder in the northern part of Egypt, Lower Egypt, the northern coast, and the delta regions, as well as dust storms and heat in the south of Upper Egypt, which is the result of the presence of the two depressions together, and it has a great relationship with climate change because this synchronization is abnormal.

Fahim explained that anything that happens in the movement and strength of air depressions is due to climate change, and the current situation will continue today, Saturday, in the form of thunderstorms, sometimes snowy, hailstones, most of which are in Lower Egypt, the northern coast, and the northern delta, and the violence of this situation increases in the eastern delta and central and southern regions. Sinai, the northern Red Sea, and Suez.

Fahim expects that this situation will end at the end of this day, and that some skirmishes will continue in the areas of eastern Sinai during the dawn of Sunday, indicating that this situation requires that we take caution while traveling between the governorates.
