A dentist is an oral health professional who deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complications in the teeth.

It is important to note that it is responsible for the different parts that make up the oral cavity, with the purpose of treating and curing diseases that occur in this area.

The functions of a dentist lie in maintaining the most optimal oral health for people, regardless of their age.

The scope of dentists’ duties is quite broad. For this reason, they specialize in specific areas, such as endodontics, implantology, pediatric dentistry, oral rehabilitation, orthodontics, oral medicine, surgery, etc.
